Coastal trolling is carried out by the beds and rocks near the entire bay of Jávea. At a slow speed, it’s a curricane with a depth to seduce the most unique fish.
The trip becomes a sensational journey to rest and practice fishing enjoying one of the best spots in the whole Mediterranean.
It consists of using artificial bait using the movement of water and the ship as a decoy. This type of fishing is based on the drag of the rig, but with the difference that it is only practiced from a boat. In the Mediterranean we can find different species such as tuna, albacore, good size llampugas, and large barracudas. One of the characteristics of this fishing is the speed, which is very important since these predators look for their prey at great speed.

This is the same as Coast Trolling, but with the bait on the surface.
Bottom Fishing consists of a half-day program with two different modalities: bottom fishing & very deep bottom fishing. Mainly it is done in Jávea, between the capes San Antonio, San Martín and Cabo de la Nao as main fishing grounds, although we can also do it on all the Valencian coast. Depending on the conditions of the sea and its currents in general, we always look for the most appropriate points so that the fishing day is a success.

In deep-sea fishing, it should be noted that it is usually done offshore. Also, another important feature is the priming of waters with small and medium-sized fish. This technique allows other large species to bite along with large tunas, reaching weights that exceed one hundred kilos. In order to carry out this activity, the first thing to keep in mind is the correct choice of where to stop the boat.
Once this is achieved, the fishing equipment must be deployed. The rigging should be as strong as possible, as well as the equipment on rods, reels and perches to capture these large fish. The way to attract the prey is to prime the water by throwing in small fish in order to attract the fish we want to catch. Additionally, the hook will have its own bait and this will be attractive to the fish. Then comes the most interesting moment, which is when the pique occurs. Then the fisher must fight against the large animal and once captured, he can help himself with a net or with something to pick him up.

Spinning is also known as dynamic fishing and its practice is to launch an artificial lure into the water, at a predetermined distance, and then pick up this lure slowly and at different depths, through a movement towards the target, so that it is attacked by the predator. In removing it, one must imitate the movements of a small fish that can present problems during its swimming. The practice of sea spinning is one of the modalities of sport fishing, from a boat, which is becoming increasingly fashionable.

This fishing technique gets its name from the type of decoy used: the “jig”. It consists of a molded hook, usually lead, shaped like a fish. The jigs are designed to recreate the vertical movement of a fish that goes to the surface, so we also know the technique as “vertical fishing”. This type of fishing consists of throwing the lure freely to the seabed and recovering it at a constant rate through the line and the movements of the rod, thus simulating the trajectory of a small fish towards the surface and serving to attract big fish.
Despite its recent increase in popularity, jigging is one of the oldest fishing techniques in the world, with origins that can be traced back to Japan and Polynesia for hundreds of years.
As a rule, it is done in depths from 30 to 250 meters and in areas where there are considerable differences in depth, abundance of food for small fish and therefore, a constant presence of large predators.
